95 percent of applicants to New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts were admitted for fall 2018

At New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 53 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in New York enrolled 257 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 15.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

14 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 76 percent are residents of other states. 9 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (40 percent) and Black or African American (23 percent).

The school admitted 95 percent of the 307 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
