55 percent of applicants to Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater were admitted for fall 2018

At Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 52 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private not-for-profit institution in New York City enrolled 83 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

20 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 67 percent are residents of other states. 13 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (55 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 55 percent of the 44 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 63 percent enrolled.
