40 percent of applicants to CUNY Lehman College were admitted for fall 2018

At CUNY Lehman College, 55 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 68 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Bronx enrolled 14,787 students in fall 2018, including 12,639 in undergraduate and 2,148 in graduate programs, data shows. 17.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (58 percent) and Black or African American (26 percent).

The school admitted 40 percent of the 15,782 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
