75 percent of applicants to CUNY New York City College of Technology were admitted for fall 2018

At CUNY New York City College of Technology, 72 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Brooklyn enrolled 17,269 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 8.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (34 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 18,980 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 24 percent enrolled.
