92 percent of applicants to DeVry College of New York were admitted for fall 2018

At DeVry College of New York, 83 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 61 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in New York enrolled 1,471 students in fall 2018, including 972 in undergraduate and 499 in graduate programs, data shows. 29 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

78 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 19 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (29 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (27 percent).

The school admitted 92 percent of the 83 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 87 percent enrolled.
