70 percent of applicants to St. Joseph's College-New York were admitted for fall 2018

At St. Joseph's College-New York, 77 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 69 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Brooklyn enrolled 1,179 students in fall 2018, including 943 in undergraduate and 236 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

88 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 11 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (36 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (24 percent).

The school admitted 70 percent of the 2,140 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 14 percent enrolled.
