Boricua College enrolls 639 undergrads

At Boricua College, 80 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 80 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in New York enrolled 731 students in fall 2018, including 639 in undergraduate and 92 in graduate programs, data shows. 13.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (77 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).
