83 percent of applicants to LIM College were admitted for fall 2018

At LIM College, 93 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 89 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in New York enrolled 1,781 students in fall 2018, including 1,503 in undergraduate and 278 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

31 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 63 percent are residents of other states. 6 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Black or African American (19 percent).

The school admitted 83 percent of the 1,348 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
