Graduates earn 1,218 degrees, certificates from CUNY Medgar Evers College

About 18.5 percent of the 1,218 degrees and certificates handed out by CUNY Medgar Evers College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Brooklyn conferred 132 bachelor's degrees and 93 associate's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a associate's degree in physical sciences. Data shows the school gave out 220 associate's degrees in physical sciences, followed by 156 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 150 bachelor's degrees in general biology/biological sciences.

The college enrolled 6,638 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
