Graduates earn 48 degrees, certificates from the New York Automotive and Diesel Institute

About 56.2 percent of the 48 degrees and certificates handed out by the New York Automotive and Diesel Institute in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Jamaica conferred 20 certificates and 7 associate's degrees in automobile/automotive mechanics technology/technician programs.

Other popular programs include diesel mechanics technology/technician, diesel mechanics technology/technician and autobody/collision and repair technology/technician.

The institute enrolled 188 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
