Graduates earn 55 degrees, certificates from New York Academy of Art

About 65.4 percent of the 55 degrees and certificates handed out by New York Academy of Art in 2017-18 were to students in programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in York conferred 36 master's degrees in painting programs.

Other popular programs include "other" fine arts and art studies, drawing and sculpture.

The academy enrolled 125 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 125 programs.
