Kaeden Kent, the 2025 third-round pick for the New York Yankees, delivered a standout performance for High-A Hudson Valley. In his latest game, Kent collected five hits, beginning with his second home run in the past month. He followed up with three singles and a double, finishing with three RBIs and two runs scored. This marks his second multihit outing in professional baseball after leading Texas A&M with 19 such games earlier this year. Kent has now recorded five games with at least two RBIs and has totaled 14 RBIs in 16 contests since joining the Yankees organization.
Other notable performances across Minor League Baseball included JR Ritchie of Gwinnett (Atlanta Braves), who struck out a career-high 11 batters over six scoreless innings, and Cam Caminiti of Augusta (Braves), who threw his first complete game as a professional. The Brewers’ top prospects Jesús Made and Andrew Fischer combined for seven hits in their High-A Wisconsin outing, while JJ Wetherholt continued to impress for Triple-A Memphis (St. Louis Cardinals).
Brody Hopkins of Montgomery (Tampa Bay Rays) compiled eight strikeouts over five scoreless innings and Kash Mayfield of Lake Elsinore (San Diego Padres) recorded nine strikeouts in five frames without allowing an earned run. Brody Brecht of Fresno (Colorado Rockies) also stood out by striking out eight batters over 4 2/3 scoreless innings.
Aaron Zavala hit three home runs for Double-A Frisco (Texas Rangers), marking his first multihomer game since July 2022.
