St. John’s softball lost to Providence, 9-3, in game two of their BIG EAST series Saturday afternoon at Glay Field. Madison Konopka led offensively for St. John’s while Loreley Francia pitched her ninth complete game this season.

St. John’s women’s golf team completed two rounds at the Rutgers Invitational and sits tied for eighth out of sixteen teams after improving their performance in round two. Several underclassmen are leading individual efforts as they prepare for Sunday’s final round.

St. John’s baseball hosts Hofstra on Tuesday for its final home game this month at Jack Kaiser Stadium. The matchup features tributes to alumnus Derek “DJ” Southerland as well as recent standout performances from key players.
