Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 13th district, shared legislative initiatives he is currently involved with. The tweets provide links to the respective pieces of legislation he is highlighting.

On April 22, 2025, Espaillat posted about the Green Climate Fund Authorization Act, stating “Ley de Autorización del Fondo Verde para el Clima”.

Shortly thereafter, Espaillat mentioned legislation pertaining to housing, the Housing for Survivors of Major Disasters Act, by tweeting “Ley de Vivienda para Sobrevivientes de Grandes Desastres”.

Minutes later, he highlighted the Safe Electronic Waste Recycling and Export Act. In this tweet, Espaillat used the phrasing “Ley de Reciclaje y Exportación Segura de Desechos Electrónicos”.

Adriano Espaillat has a longstanding career in politics, representing New York’s 13th District since 2017. He succeeded Charles Rangel and previously served both in the New York State Assembly and the New York State Senate. Born in the Dominican Republic, Espaillat moved to the United States, where he graduated from Queens College, CUNY.
