The New York Giants have spotlighted the recovery journey of Theo Johnson, who returned to football after undergoing surgery for a foot fracture. The injury occurred during a game against the Dallas Cowboys. Martin J. O’Malley, MD, a foot and ankle surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), performed the operation.

Johnson collaborated closely with his medical team throughout his rehabilitation process to resume playing. The Giants described his efforts as demonstrating perseverance and commitment as he worked to get back on the field.
