On April 11, 2025, Meng announced that her team will host a virtual event in collaboration with @nycveterans to aid local veterans in navigating their VA benefits. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15, from 11 am to 12 pm, and RSVP is required for attendance.

Later, on the same day, Meng highlighted the impact of the @NWS's automated translation services, emphasizing its role in delivering weather forecasts and warnings in various languages, which helps save lives. She urged the administration to sustain this program, particularly in diverse areas like Queens, where a significant portion of the population speaks a language other than English.

Grace Meng has been a representative of New York's 6th District in Congress since 2013, after succeeding Gary Ackerman. Prior to her role in Congress, Meng was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012. Meng, born in New York City in 1975, has her roots in Queens. She is an alumna of the University of Michigan and holds a JD from Yeshiva University.
