Adriano Espaillat, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 13th district, shared several tweets celebrating Dominican culture and heritage during the annual "Dominicans on the Hill" event in Washington, D.C. Espaillat has been serving in Congress since 2017, following his tenure in both the New York State Assembly and Senate.

On February 11, 2025, Espaillat expressed gratitude towards Senator Chuck Schumer for participating in this year's "Dominicans on the Hill" event. He stated: "Thank you @SenSchumer for joining this year’s Dominicans on the Hill, celebrating our heritage, culture, and contributions to the fabric of our nation."

Later that day, he thanked Alfredo Pacheco Osoria, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic, for attending the celebration at the U.S. Capitol. In his tweet dated February 11, 2025: "Thank you, @Pachecoalfredoo, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic for joining today's celebration of Dominican culture, pride, and heritage at the U.S. Capitol."

On February 12, 2025, Espaillat welcomed attendees to "Dominicanos en el Capitolio," highlighting it as a significant day at the United States Capitol. His tweet read: "¡Bienvenidos al Séptimo Evento Anual de Dominicanos en el Capitolio...!"
