On February 12, 2025, Espaillat expressed gratitude towards Dominican agents and other law enforcement personnel by stating: "Gracias a los agentes dominicanos y a todos nuestros agentes de la ley del @CapitolPolice por su servicio y dedicación para mantenernos seguros. Estamos orgullosos de honrarlos y reconocerlos durante la 7mo Evento Anual de #DominicansOnTheHill. #DOTH2025 #DOTH7".
Following this, on the same day, he acknowledged Representative Hakeem Jeffries for his continuous support of Dominicans in the Capitol with these words: "Gracias, @RepJeffries, por su continuo apoyo cada año a Dominicanos en el Capitolio, celebrando nuestra herencia, cultura y contribuciones al tejido de nuestra nación. #DOTH7 #DOTH2025".
