Grace Meng, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 6th district, has recently expressed concerns and updates through her social media platform. Meng, who has been serving in Congress since 2013 after succeeding Gary Ackerman, highlighted several issues ranging from data privacy to local infrastructure.

On February 7, 2025, Meng tweeted about joining 154 fellow House Democrats in seeking answers from the U.S. Treasury regarding Elon Musk's acquisition of personal information. She stated, "I joined 154 of my fellow @HouseDemocrats to demand answers from @USTreasury about Elon Musk's hostile takeover of our personal information. An unelected billionaire should not have access to our SSNs, tax returns, banking information, and more."

Later that day on February 7, Meng posted another tweet questioning the absence of Dogecoin in addressing certain issues: "Where is DOGE when we need them?"

In a subsequent update on February 8, Meng addressed power outages affecting ConEd customers in Queens. She assured constituents that her team had contacted ConEd to ensure restoration efforts were underway and encouraged those still affected to reach out for assistance: "Yesterday, ConEd customers throughout Queens experienced unexpected power outages. My team reached out to make sure ConEd crews restored power to all residents throughout the community. If you are still experiencing outages, please contact my office."
