Grace Meng, a U.S. Congress member representing New York's 6th district, recently shared her views and activities through a series of tweets. Meng has been serving in Congress since 2013, following her tenure in the New York State Assembly from 2009 to 2012.

On February 6, Meng expressed her support for federal employees in light of recent legal developments. She stated that "A federal judge has paused the administration's unfair plan to suddenly & severely fire federal employees." Emphasizing the commitment of federal workers to public service, she noted that they serve the United States rather than any elected official.

Later on February 6, Meng reminded constituents about upcoming office hours scheduled for February 9. She tweeted, "My team & I are hosting office hours on Sunday, February 9, 10am-1pm, at my Flushing District Office." The event aims to assist residents with inquiries related to federal agencies such as the VA, Social Security, and IRS.

On February 7, Meng highlighted community concerns regarding potential impacts from executive orders. She referenced personal stories like Sarah's to illustrate these issues and encouraged others to share their experiences by asking "How are the President's executive orders impacting YOU?"
