On February 4, 2025, Grace Meng expressed gratitude to participants in Mobile Office Hours organized with @GpkfAmerica. She stated her commitment to supporting groups and constituents in Queens potentially affected by a federal funding freeze. "A special thank you to all who joined us for Mobile Office Hours with @GpkfAmerica. Throughout Queens I'm working to reach groups & constituents that could be impacted by a federal funding freeze. I won't leave our community organizations & the people they serve behind."

The following day, on February 5, 2025, Meng visited the U.S. Treasury Department seeking clarification on Elon Musk's access to sensitive payment systems information. She questioned why Musk was allowed access to personal data such as Social Security numbers and tax returns without being an elected official. "I went to @USTreasury today to demand answers as to why Elon Musk was given unfettered access to payment systems with personal info like our SSNs, tax returns, routing numbers, Social Security & Medicare payments & more."

Later that same day, Meng tweeted about medication abortion services in New York State. She emphasized the safety and necessity of these services while condemning any criminalization of basic medical care as unprecedented."Medication abortion is safe, effective, & necessary. Criminalizing basic medical care is unprecedented."
