Assemblyman Alec Brook-Krasny (R,C-Coney Island) commemorated National Vietnam War Veterans Day in Albany on Wednesday by speaking on the Assembly Floor and meeting with veterans who were guests in the chamber.
“On behalf of all refugees from the former Soviet Union, I thank all Vietnam veterans, including our own Sergeant-at-Arms Wayne Jackson, for fighting the evils of communism and planting the first seed in dismantling the socialist monster called the Soviet Union,” Brook-Krasny said. “Thank you to all who have served, and are currently serving, in our armed forces for their bravery and courage in keeping us safe.”
