The National Social Work Voter Mobilization Campaign, also known as Voting is Social Work, has launched a new website aimed at helping social workers, faculty, and students engage their clients and communities in voting. The website can be accessed at https://voting.socialwork.uconn.edu/.
Shannon R. Lane, LMSW, PhD, and Allysha Bryant, MSW, PhD Candidate served on the Website Advisory Committee. "Allysha was asked to participate in this work because of her participation in the Political Justice fellowship program and her work in her agency to engage voters," stated the committee.
Additionally, grant funding from the Scholars Strategy Network facilitated the creation of a series of four videos about voting. The first video is now available for viewing.
