They made it clear that such behavior is unacceptable and that those involved will face consequences, with one individual already banned from campus.

The statement also highlighted the importance of academic freedom, a discrimination-free environment, and the need for a safe resolution to the ongoing crisis. The leaders expressed support for ongoing conversations with student leaders and academic guidance to achieve a peaceful resolution.
