13th Annual Leaders in Education Awards Dinner Embraced the Spirit of Belonging!

The thirteenth Annual Leaders in Education Awards Dinner held at the Queen's Campus of St. John's University on April 11, 2024, celebrated the achievements of five outstanding individuals in the field of education.

Among the award recipients were Christopher Cuccia, Casey Lomangino, Sunita Manjrekar, Br. David Anthony Migliorino, and Jorge Santos. The event, hosted by Joseph Sciame and with speeches from Anna Maria Montuori, Aneesh Mathew, and James D. Wolfinger, honored these individuals for their remarkable contributions to the education sector.

The event, attended by approximately 100 people, showcased the overwhelming support and sense of belonging among the honorees' family and friends. As expressed by an attendee, "The energy in the room captured the pride, connectedness, and belonging among the alumni and showed their pride in the St. John's University School of Education."

The Awards Dinner not only recognized the achievements of the recipients but also highlighted the commitment of the St. John's University School of Education alumni to pay it forward and support the next generation of students. The event truly embodied the University's Core Values of Truth, Love, Respect, Opportunity, Excellence, and Service.
