On Thursday, March 21, former University Prep Charter High School standout Melvin Council Jr.’s current collegiate team the Wagner Seahawks lost 90-62 against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, this was the first game against the North Carolina Tar Heels during the championship.
