On June 29, NYC Mayor Eric Adams and New York State Attorney General Letitia James held a press conference at BMCC to announce a lawsuit against approx. 10 "ghost gun" distributors for "fueling the gun violence crisis and endangering New Yorkers." The Attorney General and the Mayor said this is an on-going, multi-agency investigation focused on ghost guns (made from plastic material). This comes after the Supreme Court struck down a New York law limiting guns in public.
