I applaud March For Our Lives and everyone who took to the streets this weekend to demand action in the wake of recent mass shootings. Sensible gun safety measures are long overdue. It's time to end this epidemic once and for all.
As part of my office's multi-tiered strategy to keep our communities safe, we recently organized an anti-gun violence summit with New Yorkers Against Gun Violence to engage our young people in this important conversation.
