Census Bureau: Sarasota County, Florida saw more residents between ages 65 and 74 in 2019

Of the 419,496 people residing in Sarasota County, FL in 2019, the median age was 56, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NYC Gazette.

The largest number of people were in the 65 to 74 age bracket with the fewest number of people in the age bracket for children under 5 years old.
