Of the 1,830 people living in Washington Heights in 2019, 41.3 percent (756) were women and 58.7 percent (1,074) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NYC Gazette.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 638-to-550. In the 65 and over age range, there were 57 females and 185 males.
