Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Sept. 10
Indoor dining is slated to begin on September 30th at 25% capacity. It is a step in the right direction. But we need to do more to support the 5,500 Brooklyn restaurant owners who are concerned they won't survive the cold winter months with so few patrons.
Brooklyn’s restaurant industry is critical for our local economy and our neighborhoods. Safely reopening indoor dining will help these small businesses pay rent, rehire staff, and predict and plan for the future.
Although 25% capacity will not be enough for all Brooklyn restaurants, we are grateful to Governor Andrew Cuomo for working towards supporting our neighborhood businesses and jobs.

REMINDER: The Brooklyn Chamber has grants available for deep cleanings and thermometers in stock as part of the PPE supplies provided through the #BringBackBrooklyn Fund and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
