The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Adriano Espaillat, Espaillat for Congress 2018, refunded $1,000 to Carlos De La Torres on April 15, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Espaillat for Congress 2018 refunded $1,000 total since November 1, 2019.
