2.3 percent of Mercy College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 2.3 percent of Mercy College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Mercy College has 6,611 undergraduate students, of which 66 percent are women and 34 percent are men, and a total student body of 9,031 students. Of these students, 101 men and 110 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Mercy College with the most participants are lacrosse (56), soccer (47) and baseball (31).
