74 percent of applicants to the Long Island Business Institute were admitted for fall 2018

At the Long Island Business Institute, 67 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 73 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year private for-profit institution in Flushing enrolled 665 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Asian (45 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (26 percent).

The school admitted 74 percent of the 353 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 67 percent enrolled.
