Empire Beauty School-Manhattan enrolls 432 undergrads

At Empire Beauty School-Manhattan, 58 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 94 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The private for-profit school in New York enrolled 432 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. No undergraduates were transferred from another college or university.

97 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York, and 3 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (60 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (26 percent).
