Graduates earn 517 degrees from Metropolitan College of New York

About 51.6 percent of the 517 degrees and certificates handed out by Metropolitan College of New York in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in York conferred 193 master's degrees and 37 associate's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 133 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 59 bachelor's degrees in community organization and advocacy and 56 associate's degrees in community organization and advocacy.

The college enrolled 1,027 students for 2017-18, including 698 in undergraduate programs and 329 in graduate programs.
