New York City FOIL Office recently issued the following announcement.
As of June 15, 2020: All eviction proceedings continue to be suspended indefinitely pursuant to the New York State Unified Court System Administrative Order 68/20, dated March 16, 2020 (click here to read the memo). To read DOI's latest guidance to Marshals regarding the ongoing suspension of eviction proceedings, click here.
Anyone with knowledge of City marshals attempting to execute on warrants of eviction can report this activity by calling DOI’s Bureau of City Marshals at (212) 825-5953.
