Adina Feldman (SCW '26), a Straus Scholar majoring in Psychology, has been actively engaged in various extracurricular and professional activities throughout the 2023-2024 school year. This summer, she will intern in Jerusalem with therapist Micki Lavin Pell at Kav L’Noar, a mental health clinic supporting Israelis affected by the events of October 7th. Feldman reflects on her internship experiences during the fall and spring semesters.
St. John’s University hosted a forum for area high school students on May 4 in St. Augustine Hall, home of The Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies. The event, titled “Democracy Roundtable: A New Forum for Youth Engagement,” brought nearly 30 students from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, NY, and William H. Maxwell High School in Brooklyn, NY, to the University’s Queens campus.
