“With these grants, St. Mary’s supports and shines a spotlight on 15 community partners and their contributions to the long-term health and well-being of the region we all call home,” said Margaret Brodie, vice president of mission advancement and patient experience at St. Mary’s Healthcare. “Like St. Mary’s, these organizations enhance the quality of life in our community by serving others with dignity and compassion.”
The Carondelet Community Fund was established in 1996 to honor the legacy of St. Mary’s founders, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. The fund awards grants annually through the St. Mary’s board of trustees to provide support to local programs that continue the sisters’ tradition of outreach.
