St. John’s University has been recognized in several categories in The Princeton Review’s 2026 Best Colleges rankings, which are based on student feedback.
The rankings, published both online at PrincetonReview.com and in the book “The Best 391 Colleges: 2026 Edition,” feature St. John’s University on multiple lists. The Princeton Review uses surveys from students to evaluate colleges on a range of topics related to campus experiences. For this edition, data was collected from 170,000 students across the 391 schools included in the guide during the 2024–25 academic year and the two years prior.
Rob Franek, Editor-in-Chief at The Princeton Review and lead author of the college guide, said, “The colleges we profile in our ‘Best Colleges’ book are a truly select group and constitute only about 15 percent of America’s nearly 2,400 four-year institutions. The colleges that make our ranking lists do so entirely as a result of their own students’ opinions of them.”
The annual publication is now in its 34th edition and is known for its various student survey-based ranking categories.
