St. John’s women’s golf to participate in UNCW River Landing Classic

The St. John’s women’s golf team is set to compete in the UNCW River Landing Classic beginning Monday in Wallace, North Carolina. The tournament will take place over two days at the River Landing – River Course, with play starting at 8:45 a.m. each day using a shotgun start.

This marks the first appearance for St. John’s in this event, which features an eight-team field including Appalachian State, Kennesaw State, North Carolina A&T, Ohio, UNC Asheville, host UNC Wilmington and William & Mary.

The Red Storm’s lineup will include several players competing as individuals. In their most recent outing at the Space Coast Classic in Melbourne, Florida, St. John’s finished ninth overall. Players Mizlerova and Wu led the team by tying for 35th place.
