St. John’s University announced on Apr. 25 that the start time for its softball series finale against Seton Hall has been changed because of expected bad weather.

The game, originally scheduled to begin at noon on Sunday, will now start at 2 p.m., according to the university. The matchup marks the final Big East Conference game of the season at Red Storm Field.

The university said that fans can watch a live broadcast of the game on ESPN+. Live statistics will also be available through RedStormSports.com.

Adjustments like these are sometimes necessary when weather conditions could impact play or fan safety. The schedule change ensures both teams and spectators have updated information ahead of Sunday’s contest.

Looking ahead, St. John’s plans to proceed with its regular programming as weather permits and encourages supporters to check official channels for any further updates.
