St. John’s University’s women’s soccer team will conclude its 2025 season with an away match against Creighton University on Saturday at Morrison Stadium in Omaha. The game, scheduled for 2 p.m., will be available for streaming on ESPN+, and live statistics can be accessed through RedStormSports.com.
The Red Storm enter the finale after a recent 2-0 win over DePaul in their last home appearance of the year at Belson Stadium. In that match, seniors Mia Agresti and Molly McGlame each scored their first goals of the season. Assists were provided by Agresti, Daniela Monzon, and Leana Ruiz.
Agresti was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her performance, which included scoring her first career goal and assisting on McGlame’s game-winning goal in the ninth minute. “The midfielder was joined on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll by Kayla Bower, who earned conference recognition for the fourth time this season,” according to St. John’s University.
Senior goalkeeper Kayla Bower has accumulated 92 saves so far this season—the highest total by a St. John’s player since Kristin Russell achieved it in 2009. She is eight saves away from reaching 100 in a single season, a milestone not reached since Tina Fogg did so in 2002. This achievement would also place her fourth all-time in program history for single-season saves. Nationally, Bower ranks 21st among NCAA Division I players with an average of 5.75 saves per game.
Creighton stands fourth in the BIG EAST standings with 12 points and needs a win to secure a spot in the postseason conference tournament. The Bluejays have had contributions from multiple players throughout the season, with twelve different players scoring goals and thirteen recording assists.
Historically, St. John’s leads Creighton in their all-time series with seven wins, two losses, and three draws; they are unbeaten over their last five meetings against Creighton (three wins and two draws). Last year’s matchup saw St. John’s win 1-0 thanks to Nora Basile’s decisive goal on Halloween night. During their previous visit to Omaha on October 6, 2023, Angelina Scoma scored her first career goal late in the match to give St. John’s a dramatic 3-2 victory after initially losing a two-goal lead.
Saturday’s fixture will mark the end of St. John’s women’s soccer campaign for this year.
