Due to poor field conditions, the St. John’s University softball team will not play its upcoming home series against UConn at Red Storm Field as originally planned. Instead, the three-game series has been relocated to Baker Athletics Complex at Columbia.

The teams are now scheduled for a doubleheader on Sunday, with games at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., followed by the final game of the series on Monday at 1 p.m. All games will be available via livestream on the St. John’s Red Storm YouTube channel.

Originally, St. John’s was set to host UConn from March 6-8 in Queens, with game times of 2 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. Sunday.

St. John’s currently holds a record of 14 wins and six losses this season. The top two teams in the 2025 BIG EAST standings will face each other to begin conference play.
