St. John’s University announced on April 27 that Ana Serafinko has been named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week, while Natasha Limbani was selected for the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. The announcement follows a week in which the St. John’s softball team posted a 4-1 record.

The recognition highlights recent strong performances by both players during conference play. Such honors are awarded weekly to student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding contributions to their teams.

Serafinko earned her fourth Pitcher of the Week honor this season and her first since March 23, when she won back-to-back awards. In three appearances last week, Serafinko went undefeated with a 3-0 record, recording a 1.94 earned run average over 18 innings pitched. She allowed only 12 hits and held opposing batters to a .176 average while striking out 29 and throwing two complete games.

Over the course of this season’s 37 appearances, Serafinko leads the conference in several categories including earned run average (2.73), complete games (20), wins (17), and innings pitched (182).

Limbani contributed significantly on offense, batting .706 across five starts with four runs scored, one double, and four runs batted in. She recorded four multi-hit games—including a four-hit performance against Iona—and achieved a .765 slugging percentage along with a .750 on-base percentage for the week. So far this year, Limbani has tallied 58 hits and holds a batting average of .384; both marks rank among the top ten in the conference.

Looking ahead, Serafinko, Limbani, and their teammates will host Wagner at Red Storm Field on April 29 at 2 p.m., with coverage available on ESPN+ as well as live statistics provided by RedStormSports.com.
