NYU Langone Health has expanded its services in Suffolk County with the opening of a new ambulatory care facility in Westhampton Beach. The new practice, located at 131 Sunset Avenue, is part of NYU Langone Medical Associates—Westhampton and offers primary care, cardiology, and endocrinology services. This facility joins existing locations in Bridgehampton and Riverhead.

Andrew W. Brotman, MD, executive vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and strategy at NYU Langone, stated, “We’re thrilled to continue our expansion of NYU Langone’s world-class ambulatory care system on the East End of Long Island. This facility underscores our commitment to patients in Suffolk County and our mission of bringing world-class care closer to where patients live and work.”

The 6,000-square-foot facility reflects Westhampton’s architectural style and includes 14 exam rooms. It supplements NYU Langone Hospital—Suffolk in Patchogue, which became part of the health system after a three-year affiliation.

Vicki Match Suna, AIA, executive vice president and vice dean for real estate development and facilities, noted that the design approach prioritizes patient experience while aligning with Westhampton’s architectural style. “As with all our new locations, our design approach at NYU Langone Medical Associates—Westhampton prioritizes the patient experience,” she said.

Additionally, construction has begun on a new ambulatory surgery center on Patchogue’s Main Street. Scheduled to open in 2026, this facility will feature six operating rooms and four procedure rooms for outpatient surgical services.

Patients can access their health information through the NYU Langone Health app or MyChart portal.

NYU Langone Health is known for its high-quality patient outcomes and has been ranked No. 1 by Vizient Inc. among comprehensive academic medical centers nationwide for three consecutive years. U.S. News & World Report also recognized nine of its clinical specialties among the top five nationally.
