Noelle Polanco, who previously played for Fontbonne Hall Academy, participated in the Charleston Golden Eagles’ 75-58 victory over the West Virginia State Yellow Jackets on Saturday, Feb. 28.
The freshman forward, standing 5′11″, provided six points, four rebounds and one steal across seven minutes of play.
Ana Serafinko was named BIG EAST Pitcher of the Week after leading St. John’s softball to multiple wins last week. Natasha Limbani also received recognition by being placed on the conference’s Weekly Honor Roll.
Chase Huggard earned BIG EAST Freshman of the Week honors after scoring five points against Providence. The award marks his third weekly recognition this season as he looks forward to building on a strong debut year.
St. John’s men’s tennis swept all major BIG EAST postseason awards after winning another conference title this year. Radomir Tomic was named Player of the Year while David Petrovic earned Freshman of the Year honors.
