St. John’s University announced on April 29 that redshirt freshman Noah Plenn has been selected to the All-BIG EAST Second Team in men’s lacrosse, according to the conference office.

Plenn is the first freshman in St. John’s program history to earn all-conference honors since joining the BIG EAST. His selection also marks the third consecutive season that a Red Storm player has received All-BIG EAST recognition, following Bobby Seel and Brian Kelly’s selections in previous years.

During the 2026 season, Plenn led St. John’s with 39 points, scoring 25 goals and providing 14 assists over just 12 games. He also led his team in shots on goal with 57 and scored four man-up goals. The Cape May, New Jersey native was recognized three times during the season by the BIG EAST with two Freshman of the Week awards and one Offensive Player of the Week honor after a strong performance against Marquette on April 4.

Plenn made an immediate impact by scoring six points in his debut against NJIT and later recorded eight points—five goals and three assists—in a win over Quinnipiac, which was noted as one of the best single-game performances by a freshman since St. John’s reinstated its program in 2005. Over his first season, he had six multi-goal games and registered at least one point in all but one appearance.

Nationally among NCAA Division I freshmen, Plenn finished ninth in goals per game (2.08), sixth in points per game (3.25), and tied for fourth place for man-up goals. Within BIG EAST competition, he ranked seventh for goals per game, eighth for assists per game, sixth for total points per game, and second for shots per game at an average of 8.33.
