Eight players from New York City FC’s First Team and two from New York City FC II have received international call-ups for the September window. These selections span senior and youth levels across several countries.

Goalkeeper Matt Freese will join the U.S. Men’s National Team for friendlies against Korea at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey on September 6, and Japan in Columbus, Ohio on September 9.

Forward Alonso Martínez is part of Costa Rica’s squad, with matches scheduled against Nicaragua on September 5 and another fixture on September 9.

Midfielder Aiden O’Neill has been called up to play for Australia in two games against New Zealand—one in Canberra on September 5 and another in Auckland on September 9.

Tomas Romero will represent El Salvador as they begin their World Cup qualification campaign, starting away to Guatemala on September 4 and then hosting Suriname four days later.

Defender Andrew Baiera remains stateside after earning a place in the U.S. U-19 training camp held in Atlanta from September 1 through 8.

Máximo Carrizo has been selected for the U.S. U-17s and will travel to Katwijk, Netherlands, for a camp that includes matches against the Dutch team on September 5 and 8 at SJC Noordwijk.

Mitja Ilenič will play for Slovenia U-21s during a European Championship qualifier against Norway in Drammen on September 9.

Jonny Shore joins the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team for a training camp featuring two friendlies versus Morocco on September 5 and 7.

From MLS NEXT Pro affiliate New York City FC II, Adonis Campos was called up by El Salvador U-17s for an extended training camp. Peter Molinari has been selected for a U.S. U-17 domestic identity camp in Fayetteville, Georgia.
