New York City FC has released its preseason schedule for the 2026 Major League Soccer season. The team will begin preparations in Tampa, Florida, where they will play their first preseason match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on January 24.
After the opening match, New York City FC will move to Austin, Texas. There, the club is set to face Austin FC on February 1 as part of its ongoing preseason training.
The team will then travel to Palm Springs, California, to participate in the Coachella Valley Invitational for a fourth consecutive year. During this tournament, New York City FC is scheduled to play three matches. Their first game will be against LAFC on February 8 at 3 p.m. ET. The next match will see them face Sporting Kansas City on February 11 at 4:30 p.m. ET.
The club’s final preseason game and last fixture in the Coachella Valley Invitational is set for February 14 against the San Jose Earthquakes at 4 p.m. ET.
